On July 30, Pūpūkahi Tech brought Everyday AI to Waimānalo, hosted by Hawaiian Island Cafe. The evening brought together neighbors curious about what AI actually means for their daily lives — not the hype, but the practical side: what it can do, where it falls short, and how to start using it with confidence.
Real examples, real questions
Attendees worked through real examples together, asked hard questions, and stayed well past the formal program to keep talking story over food. That's the kind of turnout that tells us this work matters here.
The conversation focused on the practical side of AI: writing help, planning tools, image and audio assistants, and how to spot when a tool is confidently wrong.
